After looking at every carseat on the market, I purchased the Frontier and had a carseat specialist help with proper installation - no problem, perfect fit. My husband's SUV has the Latch system and my car (BMW 525 wagon) does not, but both work well. The carseat specialist reassured me we can transition to the booster position without the Latch system. On our first outing, my 2 1/2 yo son fell asleep and looked even more comfortable than in his Marathon (which will now go to my infant). I was worried he wouldn't see out the window as easily, but he's a small child and it's not a problem. The seat looks bigger than the Marathon, but because the top is adjustable it fits more easily into our carseat bag for airplane travel.
