This is a well-made and exceptional car seat. I'm a huge fan of Britax and recently bought this for my daughter to replace her Britax Decathlon. I am guilty of just skimming through the manual and had a terrible time installing the car seat. I was wrong to assume that it installs the same way my other car seats (Marathon/Decathlon) do. The latch WILL work in your vehicle, granted you read the manual BEFORE you go at it! After becoming highly agitated I went back and took the time to actually read the manual and would you believe it was a piece of cake to install?! Go figure?! I LOVE this car seat and more importantly my daughter loves her new car seat. Another great product from Britax!! I feel that my daughter is safe, comfortable and secure and I wouldn't want her in anything else. It was DEFINITELY worth the extra money. I'm sure if anyone that complained about the latch installation actually went back and carefully read the directions, they would change their opinion of this car seat.
