I have two Frontiers for my 3 1/2 year old son. One in a 2001 Mazda Tribute and one in a 2006 Toyota Sienna van. My husband had a hard time installing the first one in the Tribute. He read the manual; I downloaded instructions with pictures and tips from other parents but just could not get it tight enough. Ultimately I went to a free car seat inspection/seminar that our county does every other month. He had installed it correctly...basically she just put all her weight on the seat and showed me how to do the final tightening.
When I told my husband it was time to replace the seat in the van and I wanted another Frontier he groaned. But I love the fact that this will turn into a booster and my son loves it. It is comfortable for him, large and he loves the cup holders. He never complains about getting in his seat.
When the second one arrived, my husband and 15 year old daughter got it installed in the van within 15 minutes. It does not move, the straps don't twist and my little guy is comfortable and protected & this is the last seat he will need.
