This was my second Britax seat (I was very happy with my first, the Roundabout) and recall or no recall I would highly recommend that you don't buy this seat. You will not be happy with it. I found it very difficult to install and also very difficult to buckle my son into. The straps get twisted and the metal clips that clip into the buckle get lost at the bottom of the seat.
