My son has grown to 40" tall and almost 40 lbs. We needed a replacement for his Graco car seat we bought for the plane, that wound up in grandma's car. His other Britax seat will work until he's 65 lbs. But we needed a replacement for the lower capacity seat, and reading information on the internet, I did NOT want a belt positioning booster. Five point harness was key. There were really only two other options on the market at this time, and both were made in China. I chose this option because I've been impressed with Britax' other products, and this was at least assembled in North Carolina. It wasn't more expensive than the other 5-point harness options, and I think it's important to buy US made items when possible.
