I did not have one problem installing this seat. I read through the instructions went out and installed it under 5 minutes and got a nice tight installation with latch and tether. I have not tried installing with the seat belt yet so I can't comment about that one right now. Make sure that you pull the recline bar forward in harness mode and tighten the latch straps through the belt holes. My daughter is very comfy in her new frontier. So far we love it.
