Fabric is cheap. We've had the seat for only 6 months and it is already ripped and frayed. The straps are constantly twisting. If you are putting the car seat into a van "captains chair", you won't be able to use the cup holder (as securing the seat will force the cup holder to shut half way). The "end caps" that Britax sent as part of the recall package made it extremely difficult to tighten the straps (as the "end caps" are made of very tacky plastic and get stuck on the underneath curve of the seat). This is my fourth Britax car seat so I am familiar with them and this one is NOT worth the money. Seriously, I would return mine if I could.
